Programming

Registration is now open for our Spring 2023 programming!

There will be a weekly storytime on Tuesdays from 11-11:45 am in the 2nd floor Gallery for ages 18 months to 3 years old. It will feature stories and crafts. The program will run every Tuesday from April 11th to May 23rd. Parents must remain with their children for the entire program.

There will also be a weekly arts & crafts program on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:15 pm in the 2nd floor Gallery for ages 6-9 years old. It will feature lots of fun crafts! The program will run every Wednesday from April 12th to May 24th.

Advanced registration for these programs is strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated if possible. Please note that program registration must be completed for each session you wish to attend.  We understand that family schedules are hectic and many families don’t want to be locked into a program every single week just to only actually attend a few sessions. This way, you can register for and attend only the sessions that work for you and your family!

Register by clicking the calendar link in our profile or by going to the “Calendar” tab on our website. Once you’re in our calendar, choose the session(s) you’d like to attend and register!

Please note that while our Ave C Building is still undergoing renovations, our historic courtyard and entryway will be closed to the public. The only entrance into the library at this time is the handicap entrance on 31st St.

Our Children’s room is still open for you — just in a temporary location in our 2nd floor Gallery while the official Children’s Room undergoes a major renovation. We promise…it’s totally worth the wait! We look forward to seeing you soon!

All programming (both children and adult) is advertised on our website calendar and on our Instagram and Facebook.

For further information about programs for children, please please contact Paula Micalizzi, the Children's Room Librarian, at (201) 858-6975.
